Finally in the paid off club..

On Thursday of last week I finally paid off the 2003 COBRA in full. Needless to say I'm happy and will now be able to save $360 dollars more a month for my 1st home. It feels good to finally be the official owner of my car..:banana::beer::rockon:

I paid 24k cash for mine as well. IMO making payments is worse than losing the chunk all at once. Easier to buy mods as needed without the payments getting in the way.

Congrats I paid mine off last Wednesday. I only had my loan for about 3 months (buying the car would have depleted my savings to dangerously low level) but I hated every minute of it. Now I'm debt free and love the car even more.

Nice, definitely save up money if you can. I paid cash for mine, but I remember paying off my truck a few years ago - it felt so good I decided I was done with car payments. If I can't pay cash I'm not buying from here out.
