G’Mornin’ fellas, it’s been along time since I’ve posted here. I recently decided to get back into the Mustang game and picked up a nice clean low mileage triple black 1997 SVT Cobra convertible. I’m just wondering if there are any members that reside around the Phoenix/Mesa area of Arizona. If so, I’m looking for help to find a good, reputable shop to trust with upgrading my untouched, virgin automobile. Thanks guys and here are a few pics of the car that I took on my phone for now;

You are correct, flows or Macs with an O/R h-pipe is the best on these cobras.

My Ultraflos sound amazing. I used to actually have an offroad H and 2 chamber Flowmasters.

Now it's a turbo setup so no H or X pipe, but the Ultraflos have a great bark to them at 3000+. I love hearing it everytime.

That's a hell of a good looking Cobra there. Nice snag.
Thanks man, my lady is the one that convinced me to pick it up.
Congratulations! Nice score.
Thanks!
Nice ride and welcome back! Gotta love the triple black!
Thanks and yeah, I really do love the triple black … now I just gotta figure out what’s next for it.
Awesome car. Who’s the avatar?
Thanks and my avatar is one of my fiancé’s old modeling pics.
Had to ask. Hot…
It’s all good, I agree!

Nice find. How many miles on it? Are you up to doing some of the simple mods (like intake, exhaust, lowering springs, short-throw shifter) yourself, or are you going to have a shop do all/most of them?

Thanks, I’m hoping to keep it simple but upgraded tastefully.

Currently, it sits at just about 71k. I am up to doing the simple mods, sure, once I’m moved in to our new home whose Im hoping is soon. I don’t know if any shops around here. All of my automotive shop connections were when I was still living in Cali. I currently reside in Mesa, Arizona for now. I’d like to add a Procharger with corresponding mods, bolt-ons, exhaust, etc. and keep it to where I don’t really have to do anything that requires getting into the motor.

Sounds like a decent enough plan. 71K miles on a '97 Cobra is great! I don't have any shop recommendations for you, unfortunately, but hopefully someone will provide that info for you.
