You can do whatever you want, but the point of this thread was that you were looking for opinions.
My point is that something that's being touted as a benefit of the Whipple over the TVS is not necessarily an actual benefit in the real world.
You save 20 minutes of grinding but load the crank more and if/when you run into belt issues you'll be stranded.
Like I said, do whatever you like. Every FI option has put cars into the 8s.
I am not above learning something, or admitting that I do not know somethkng. I just don't understand why the lack of grinding would be a problem. That was really just one of the reasons. I also like the idea of the instant torque. I do a lot of around town driving and it would be nice to have the instant torque. I know they can all go into the 9's but they do it in different ways. The new front feed whipples are really nice kits. This is the kit I was looking at with the 132 mm throttle body. Can even go to a 10 rib belt with matching billet pulleys. I am still not 100%. Will decide by the end of the month.
