Not this time. It was late enough in the ay I took the polarizer filter off. I just use clear filter/protector.

I've got a question for you about your, what looks to be LDC Chicago, H/E rock guard. How well does it actually keep the H/E from getting dinged up? I've got one waiting to go on when I install my Gords H/E and was just looking for some real world feedback on the effectiveness of the guard.

Yes, it is an LDC Chicago screen.
I have had it on my car for several years now and it's doing great. With the brackets, the screen is actually pretty rigid. You can hit it with your hand and it doesn't flex backwards. So far so good!

It's looking like I'll be stuck until spring when I have some vacation time though. I would like to have everything ready for the e85 swap so Kevin and I can tune it when I come down.
