Melvin finally brought the car outta the garage for a recent dyno day event.
The crowd talked him into actually doing a small burnout.

Fun times! That blower sounds so different from every Kennebell or Whipple I've ever heard!

Enjoy.

Props for doing something different. Love the wheels set up.

However, if it was me... the whole blower set up would be flat black and the wheels would be anodized gun metal or black.

Very badass for sure. Anyone know specs on that thing?

5.4 iron block
04 Cobra heads with stock cams
Modified 04 cobra lower intake and intercooler
Forged crank, rods, pistons
5 speed manual
9 inch rear with 4.56 gears

Car makes 800rwhp on 17 pounds of boost. Melvin the car owner built this to be different and not necessarily for chasing a high horsepower number.
The 6-71 is very capable of making 4 digit horsepower, but that is not what the owner had intended for this car.

Funny thing is those tires are not very good for smoke shows! Haha.

That is a sick ride. Sound nasty. A bit over the top for some, but I like it. :)
