Do a search this is asked weekly. It does not matter most like it to face the same direction as the seats but others like it to face the other way. Their is no set standard.
Wrong it does matter.
All cobra snakes from 94 - on ->face forward, therefor they are available in right and left. Forward is toward the front of the car and will be different depending on what side you are standing on.
The exception is the first SVT Cobra Mustangs... on the 93s there was no right and left available for them then. So the driver side faces forward and the passenger faces backward... only on 1993 SVT Cobra Mustangs.
.
Next contestant?
yup remember this tooI have seen post where allegedly the original owners had the Cobra emblems facing rearward. Well, that is at least how my well documented faulty memory recalls these posts. I know I have seen pictures of them on "backwards", I believe the story that went along with them is that is how the original owner always had them. Fun Friday at the Ford Facotry during production maybe ??

But why would ford do that? It just looks funny to me when ALL the cobras face to the right (other fender, 03/04 seats, floor mats, intake) except that one.

Me too:rockon:
Thanks, because my memory can be rather questionable at times. IIRC, it was a ZY Cobra in one of the pics. No body work involved, original owner.
It's simply a UAW mess up, nothing more nothing less.
