Besides, the Raptor in it's intended purpose doesn't need 700+ HP to go offroading. The Gen 1 Raptor has plenty of power for offroading.
It needs better brakes and suspension to use up stock current power levels.
Truth.

It was never going to happen on the Gen 2.Originally it was going to happen. But with Fords financial situation. Who knows.
Correct it was going to be tested on the new platformIt was never going to happen on the Gen 2.
Doubt it. My guess is the 3.0 hybrid from the Aviator or a hybrid using a similar version of the current 3.5. Ford is for sure going to want to show off what it can do with electric so what better vehicle than the Raptor.
Maybe a detuned GT40 motor?
Negative.
I feel like the only ppl that have had motor problems have been the 2017/2018 guys and it is normal for the first couple years of a new motor to have to work out the kinks.
Cant tell if you are serious, sarcastic or ironic? Either way it’s true.
Where is the EcoBeast Ford. You know, twin turbo V8? I’ve seen it in your test vehicles, give it to us already!

It's a 7.3L and still makes less power. What's the weight difference between Godzilla and the ecoboost? Not even gonna get into the mod ability . You had an 18 correct? The 7.3L gas engine only puts out 20 HP less than the 3.5L eco, but I bet it's not nearly pushed as hard.
I'd consider another Raptor if they put the 7.3L in it.

Also, surprised Ram isn't countering the 7.3L engine for the 2500+ class. The detuned 6.4L has 46lb less TQ.
This is what happens when your fleet don't and can't pass CAFE standards and you are bleeding money as you pay the fines because of this. But everyone on here is like oh but Dodge is killing it. No they are not as Fiat for the last 2 years have been trying quietly to get another company to buy Chrysler with no success. But go ahead and Hellcat everything and so be forced to pay fines that you didn't need to. This is the main reason no one wants to take ownership.
