So I'm throwing up the idea of deleting all the EGR stuff. My question is...my car is tuned and I like my tune the way it is and don't need or want a retune. Can I just plug in my SCT and turn off EGR, or does it need a whole new file?

Before anyone says "just have your tuner turn it off", well he lives 2,000 miles away so that's not an option.

Thanks

Your tuner will have to turn it off in the tune. It won't give you any more performance by deleting it. But your tuner should be able to turn it off and then email you the updated tune.

Technically you can just delete the EGR and run the car like normal, however you will have a check engine light. As stated previously, you need your tuner to turn off those codes for the EGR which can be done via email.
