12HP stock and 30 HP pullied? Is this true? Just from an idler? I have a 2.93 and no aux. idler. Anyone have an opinion?

Only if you are seeing belt slip will it do anything. It does not "Magically" make HP. The description is VERY misleading.

Plus I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from UPR.

If you do decide to buy an aux idler, go with Billetflow.

The vendor either is purposely misleading the uninformed, or doesn't have a clue. The only way anyone will see an increase of power with an idler set is (as mentioned above) if there is enough belt slip present to cause power to drop off. Additional wrap will solve the slippage issue. And, of course, if the belt is too big to begin with (with or without an auxiliary idler) slippage is going to happen.
