Disappointed on so many levels

Today has been the biggest disappointment with the cobra. A few months ago I decided to try a home port job. I ported the eaton, plenum and throttle body. I added 80's, BAP with wire, MAFia, magnaflow C/B with OR/H, WMS Racing Intake, 2.8 upper, toyo proxes TQ's, aeroforce dual gauges with wideband and tuned by Amazon. My expectations were low I only expected 450/450 or so. So I get to the dyno shop strap it down and it starts. I'm honestly not sure what happened but my e-brake apparently stuck and caused my rear calliper to heat up and burst into flames. I have it on video. I think he didn't push the ebrake all the way down but who knows. Ended up not hurting anything as far as I can tell. That's the first disappointment, second my car only dyno'd 432/415 with my A/F at 11.02 and its choppy. Third disappointment my brand new aeroforce interceptor gauges with wideband only work 50% of the time so now I have to send them back. They lose all of there contrast and all I see is green. When they are working one gauge is way brighter than the other. Fourth disappointment on the way home on 360 N near grapevine TX we were in bumper to bumper traffic because of the awful construction. A guy in a POS chevy truck hit my rear bumper and scratched the hell out of it. Did he stop and give me his insurance card? NO! He decided to go offroading and went over the bar ditch onto the service road which is literally a 45 degree angle followed by a muddy ditch and two curbs. I had no way to chase him down and I got three of his license plate numbers not six. The police said there's nothing they can do. I feel as of now that I have wasted a lot of money and time all for nothing. I see a corvette in my future if things don't turn around.

That a/f looks horrible. I would call rick and have him check out the tune. Have you data logged the tune and send it back to him for him to make adjustments? Are you on 93 octane fuel? How much timing did he put in? Maybe it's on super low timing.

Those numbers are extremely low. Like others have said, did you have dyno numbers before the port work? Same dyno? New plugs?

For the gauges...did you wire them yourself? Are you getting enough power to them? Do you have a good ground? I would trouble shoot before sending those back.

I feel your pain though. My passenger side headers leaks like an old chevy truck that I need to fix, some asshole keyed my car last summer on the rear driver side fender which I still need to get fixed, and last night something happened to my ****ing tranny where the car is locked in fifth. Now I have to pull the trans....

It sucks, but that's life. Just keep your head up and you'll get it worked out.

I have no idea on what I was running before. I am dataloging the car to give to rick I'm sure he can smooth it out some. I am on a 2.8 upper and stock lower. I wish I would have dyno'd before but I didn't. The car before felt way better than now. I'm more or less just expressing my disappointment to people who understand. None of my friends or family are into cars so talking to them is useless haha.

We feel your pain! Rick is a good guy, and a good tuner. He won't leave you hanging. I'm hoping if you send him your data log that it will solve the issue.

That sucks bro I understand on the tranny I've had the car a year now and had to have the transmission rebuilt. Major expense! The car has spent more time being worked on than driven

Also on the gauges they are aeroforce interceptors it gets power from the OBD port. Kind of hard to mess that up as its literally plug and play.

Get a corrected tune from Rick, or get a dyno tune. I've used Rick and he's good.

I believe Texas has 93 octane fuel.

+ what is an amazon tune? mail order tune? since your vcar's not at a dyno they make it a rich fuel mapping so your car dont explode and they have to buy a new one.
best getting a dyno tune.
as far as your gauges make sure you wired them right & to their own power source and not drawing to much from somewhere else.

I wish I would have done a dyno tune but amazon is a respectable tuner I'm sure he will fix. Aeroforce interceptors plug into your OBD 2 port. Can't really mess that up

Keep your head up brother, you just had a bad day. Remember, these cars are labors of love. They're gonna break your heart sometimes, but when they're behaving, they're a blast. Lean on the forums for the support you need and get that machine where you want it.

I see your in Grapevine...where did you dyno at? Like others have said, a dyno is just a tuning tool and some dyno's read lower than others. That said, your a/f does need cleaned up abit.
