i currently have a Canon Powershot A75 and a Canon Rebel XT, and i just recently bought my brother the Canon Powershot A530, i have loved everyone of them so far.
i would recommened the A530, its 5.0 mega pixels, and ive seen the pictures my brother has taken with it so far and was impressed. it was only 220 at best buy. its very small and only uses 2 double A batteries compared to the 4 that my powershot A75 uses.
i have a gallery of pics that i have taken with several different cameras, you can click a picture and it will tell you the camera i used and all the camera settings, if you want to see some examples
