Absolutely! I am 100% positive on this and Heytonyman with his 2001 GT with complete 04 cobra swap KB 2.8 and later 76mm hellion with 8.8 SLA can attest to this as well. Our other roommate has a 95 6spd supra with a single 76mm + cams. All else is bone stock minus a simple drag suspension setup, he's still on the STOCK NA IRS setup (his car was originally NA!) He has had a Tilton Triple plate hydraulic clutch in his car for the past year and half without having to take it out once while Tony has had about three spec 3+ clutches in the same amount of time. The Supra makes anywhere from 600+ on 93 700+ on E85 and 842rwhp on c16 and runs 9.42's with a 1.5 60 foots while the cobra has made anywhere from 590-640rwhp on pump gas and 104 octane. No real good track times for cobra. Moral of this post is I am now a believer in clutches that cost as much as a Tilton clutch does.

I don't think as many of the big name supras are showing up, its a long drive for boost logic, but titan was talking about bringing their cars up, so who knows.
I may be wrong, but the track set up vs street can vary by like 300hp can't it??? Definately not running the 8 Sec tune on the street and hooking like that.
Not taking anything away from the car as it is Badass, and props to the owner for some kick ass driving and having the balls to stay in it while it is wiggling down the track.

Oh it was far from what it was running at the track, on the street he was on E85 with an 80mm turbo while at the track where he ran his 8.55 he was on VP import race fuel and the GT47-88 plus nitrious. I think his street tune (in the video) is around 850rwhp? I could be wrong though.
