Boss cams are nice and from my understanding they work pretty well with a turbo. I haven't checked the boss head price but sure there on the same price level JPC/RGR heads are but im sure RGR's stage 1 will out flow stock boss heads and I'm looking to do stage 2's and they have larger than stock & boss intake & exhaust valves.

Boss heads. Isn't there about a 32hp difference, 444 minus 412. = 32 ponys

Yeah if NA, plus most boss's don't run any better stock than a stock gt. FI changes a lot of things, with turbo's porting exhaust side will do a lot more so with the intake side of equation. Sure JPC and RGR have a better solution!

I'm not skimping on the shortblock im doing a new 13 - 14 block with the RGR Support System, Oliver I-Beams w/arp2000's, Custom RGR Spec Diamond Pistons, Pistons will be Double Diamond coated (fully hard anodized including ring groves with Moly coated skirts) all Arp (main studs, side bolts & head studs) New forged crank. TSS Billet oil pump gears, Not positive but should be good to 1200 ish.
The only other option that's available that i am not doing to make it stronger is to add Darten Sleeves.
Already ordered this from Eric @ JPC.

Since it seems like you're going all out, might as well get ARP 625s instead of 2000s ... the price difference is very small.

I can offer this to you. On our procharged car we picked up 100 wheel at the same boost level with jpc stage 2s and comp stage three blower grinds.

cams yes, ported heads no. Our heads flow 300CFM stock, no need to port unless your trying to set/break records IMO.

They dont flow 300 They get really close at .600 lift. That's at least how they flow on our bench.

Flow benches are like dynos some read high some read low

Here are some flow numbers i have on hand

Stock Heads
Lift intake ex
.100 99 72.2
.200 180.2 147.8
.300 243.5 180
.400 280.0 189.7
.500 289.4 201.4
.600 298.4 202.1

RGR Stage II
RGR Ported
.100 100 87
.200 187 151
.300 252 194
.400 290 210
.500 312 218
.600 318 220
.650 320 222

RGR Stage II
RGR PORTED
.100 100 87
.200 197 158
.300 266 201
.400 303 213
.500 321 224
.600 335 232
.650 337 235

RGR Stage III
RGR PORTED
.100 102 88
.200 205 160
.300 271 205
.400 305 221
.500 327 232
.600 339 243
.650 342 249

I think the heads can be worth a good amount of power. Not sure on the exact amount. Pair with the correct CAM the heads will make a huge difference.

I would not use Boss Heads on a power adder car because they have sodium filled valves (hollow stem) they are light weight and bad ass NA but they lack strength.

Just my .02

Are you guys saying ported hesds are worth 35rwhp NA?

The thing is i have never just installed ported heads and no other mods.

Usually they get heads and cams at the same time.

I will say on a stock short block with bolt ons, Add re grind cams, Stage 1 heads and a boss intake and it will make over 500 NA. on 93

with the cams having to be removed to do the heads and the job being a major PITA most would do the cams and heads together so getting head only data will be tough. I can easily see 35+rwhp n/a from a set of fully ported heads considering my car picked up +-10rwhp from some minor clean up work on the intake side only.

The ported Coyote's pick up a pretty good amount on the higher end of the lift range.
The boss heads have better low lift #'s with similar (just short of the ported coyote's)
If we do up a set of boss heads we can tailor them to your setup beyond the way they come out of the box.

Does anyone know what size or measured the diameter of Exhaust port opening on the COYOTE heads (where header / manifolds) bolt on?
