I’m more than happy to pay you in booze if you want to turn wrenches.

Negative. You got your $50 bucks back, you are back into the black on a ballance sheet. Do what I suggested a few times and you will be deep into the savings.

    RotoChicken @ Costco [email protected] $8.99 = $4/each
    Mobile 1 @ Costco $25.99 @ Autozone $45 = $20
    Gas @Costco $2,83 @Near by Stations $3.20/gal (today, just filled up) = $5.97/tank (I fill up 5-6x Month) = $35.52

Right there is like $100 in savings, so you spent $60 to join... That's $40 net.... In barely 30 days if that's all you bought

People like to nit pick "oh I'm spending $50 to save only 50 cents on milk", but it's the over all savings and convince that pays for that membership fee over and over.

If you are a big shopper, the Executive Club gets you a 1-3% return and I know people that get $800 checks at the end of the year. That's on top of any the item savings.

I BBQ quite a bit and love the brisket, ribs, and sausage you can buy there. It isn't necessarily cheaper than the local grocery, but it is usually a grade up in quality. I also used the Auto Buying program when I bought my Camaro. I essentially got employee pricing plus a $800 Costco gift card.

Edit: We also bought our refrigerator from them. It was a little cheaper with a 5 year extended warranty. We had a problem with it after 2 years and Costco helped organize the repair with LG.

I have a family of 6, we buy a lot of stuff.

I have the Executive membership, and we just shop normally. Without any super larger purchases we get enough back to cover the cost of our membership plus about an extra $100.

I plan on buying an RV this year, and with a Costco CC you get an extra 4% cash back on fuel on top of their already very cheap fuel prices. Won't take long to start see real returns when you're filling up a 150 gallon tank.

Got a regular membership just to buy a piece of beef. Got a 19lb prime ribeye roast for the same price I paid for a 13lb one from HEB. Difference was about $76, so savings overall was $16. But, I have already recouped the membership cost in savings overall and not through funky math. I have not bought any random item that I wouldn’t have already bought in bulk just to justify the cost of membership. However, I am contemplating buying a box of their king crab legs, cuz dem bitches look good.
