LT's, x pipe, magnapacks...... can't seem to figure out why shit is rattling apart.
edit: Nevermind just found out the hoods are aluminum. Anyone know when they started to use aluminum for Mustang hoods?
Wonder when they went to aluminum, I was surprised thought for sure it was metal.weight savings of course! crazy thing is when people go to a fiberglass hood, usually its a HEAVIER hood... lolol
- Vibrating rear view mirror (not due to the stereo), vibrates while driving.
- Front bumper cover pops loose, after driving the car I have to pop the bumper cover back on, I put my knee against it and pop it back in.
- The plastic part under the motor is almost completely gone. I've had to cut off/remove parts of it due to it dragging or causing vibrations in the floor.
- The hose that connects the wind shield reservoir (behind the passenger side tire) broke free, so I used zip ties to hold that in place.
- Looks like the plastic part for the wheel wells is loose.
- Bad O2 sensors.
- Idle bounces up and down (what's that about?)

Metal I meant steel, was just surprised, my 89 has a steel hood but we're going back a few years.Aluminum is metal, it's just a non-ferrous metal (has no iron/steel). Ford has been using aluminum hoods for a very long time. I don't know when they started, but my 1998 Crown Victoria has an aluminum hood too. So have my past Mustangs.
I bought my 14’ in November of last year, car has 41k miles on it. Weekend after I bought it my wipers starting randomly coming on when the car was cold, I pulled the fuse and figured I’d pick up a new switch later as I don’t drive it in the rain. In late January I took it to pick up my son from wrestling practice and the heater blower fan wouldn’t come on.
In the last few days I’ve noticed the cooling fans are running non stop, even when the car is cold. I’m pretty bummed as this is my fifth mustang and I had saved and looked forward to getting back into a newer stang after playing with new edges and foxes for a while.
