I ran a cooling duct from my bumper to the back of the alternator and it fixed all my issues at WOT and other rpm's
i had mine rebuilt to 200 amps at Conrel in Schecectady NY. It was a fair price and i havent had any problems since.
This was one of the main reasons I went turbo. Could stand driving the car thinking in the back of my head I may be stranded at any moment cause the damn alternator.
4 Alternators and a 3.7 pulley I found one that lasted a little bit. It was an original one I bough used off this site.
Now I have the 01 Alternator and would LOVE to upgrade it to a 200am.
