Sadly the cobra is still sitting in a parking lot waiting to go in for open heart surgery. Supposed to be getting started this week. I can't wait to get it back, for now all I have is photos. I just wish I would have shut it off for this shot...the exhaust is puffing out reminders that she's broke. :-(

what kind of surgery does it need? are you not doing any of the work yourself?

I was on my way to the dyno when I got stuck in traffic and it overheated and blew the head gaskets. We let it cool and put it up on the dyno and it wasn't quite right so we started pulling plugs and scoping the cylinders and the left rear had oil sitting on the piston and little pieces of what appeared to be a valve guide. So it's getting torn apart and checked out.

Unfortunately I don't have a garage or access to a lift at my new house yet so I am not able to do any of the work myself. Plus I am disabled vet and really shouldn't be crawling around and doing that kind of stuff anymore anyways. I'm letting the pros handle it this time.
