It will probably take a long time for them to achieve the kind of collector status that makes the price double or triple, as in the case of Shelby Mustangs.
Fox-body coupes are starting to increase in value after their depreciation bottomed out. I've seen Fox coupes in Autotrader listed at more than they were new, but these are usually the Special Service models, or very low-mileage, all original garage queens.

One with 61 miles sold for less than 40k last year. Is it worth more? Yes, but why buy this one when another one could come along in two weeks for 35k. That is why it probably wont go much higher in price at least on ebay. If I had a Cobra R, I would NOT try to sell it on ebay.

No way I would buy a car on ebay. I can't crawl under it, drive it, or look for damage repair. Plus, I have heard too many bad results for buyers and sellers.
