Clutch Splipping

So I was driving down the road today and rolled into the gas a little bit and the car started free revving. Luckily I made it home with no further problems. So I am guessing I’m due for a new clutch.

2007-2009 Shelby GT500 Clutches & Flywheels

I was looking at some of the clutches here for sale. Couple questions:

Is the twin disc necessary? also are they hard to install?

Any benefit while I am in there to doing an aluminum flywheel?

How hard is the install? I have a lift and plenty of tools at my house.

Yes you need a dual disc. I prefer SPEC which comes with a billet aluminum flywheel
