By Falcon you mean www.fpv.com.au. Even if Ford can't bring over the exact car the principle is there. A rwd sedan with a 8 cylinder option. This is where GM screwed up with the GTO. If they would have made necessary changes but kept the sunroof, navi, interior gauges etc the car might have gone over better. Hell GM could've brought over the UTE which I think is the "Elcamino, Ranchero" and the sedan version of the Monaro as well.

This why people go for the BMW or Benz. Most people would rather buy a three or four year old Benz instead of a new domestic. Can you blame them.

I would trade the Cobra in on a heartbeat for something similar to this with the Cobras blown powertrain and a 5 or 6 speed auto.

Some of those cars may be coming to the US in the very near future. The Buick in China is actually a Daewoo which GM owns. And the Focus which appears in this thread is based off a Mazda 3 platform which will definitely be here in the next couple of years. The Fiesta... not sure.

We've all heard this before. The reality is that car manufacturers in the U.S. have become complacent with the U.S. market and spend all their money competing overseas. They think we'll buy anything they put in front of us.

It's nice to know we're taking back seat in the global economy. :nonono:
