Now they're not built on the same platform (the Chinese version is smaller), but from a pure styling standpoint, North America got shafted big time.

I think the Chinese version fits the higher end image that Buick should represent moreso than the North American one does. It looks like something a businessman could drive to the office and actually look respectable, rather than looking like he just found his way out of the retirement home.

The one in China looks ten time better IMO. The interior looks really modern in the Chinese model compared to the deathly plain US interior. Def looks like we got the shitty version over here.

They sell a Chinese version of the Jeep Cherokee - AKA the XJ platform. I think they call it the Ginglee, not sure about the spelling.
