Check out this monster 4V build...

While my project is sitting on the back burner waiting on parts, i've been giving Dave a hand working on some other projects he has going on right now at the shop.

This is DGR Performance 4V longblock sn#1 for Andy Mason, who races in X275.

Andy picked up this monster Thursday with plans to drop it in the car over the weekend and bring it back to the shop for tuning early next week. He will be racing in GA next weekend at the biggest small tire drag race of the year.

One of the unique things about this motor is the Ford GT heads that were ported by Steve at Houston Performance. The intake and exhaust ports are truly massive compared to the C heads he ran last year, which BTW, got him a best of 7.70's @ over 180mph!!! We cant wait to see what he runs this year.

I didnt make it up to the shop yesterday but I heard they made 1230 rwhp! Not bad for a little 324 ci mod motor and a salad shooter..:burnout:

Same short block, but i cant afford the GT heads. My salad shooter is a much smaller, belt driven version as well. So to answer your question, no, not really..:beer:
