Charity Challenge at NE Dragway- Sunday, April 25th

This is my 5th Annual event, and it is officially scheduled on the NE Dragway website!!!
First 64 racers to register and pay in full are guaranteed a spot.

"Charity Challenge" will be a bracket style elimination, similar to my Jeff Calero Memorial Shootout last year (Project: Fallen Hero) but with a "Winner take all for their Charity" stipulation.

Prior to "Charity Challenge", 16 charities will be chosen as possible winners of the pot.

The 64 racers will be split into 16 teams of 4, with each team fighting to win the proceeds for their chosen charity.

So far, the following Team Captains have been chosen with their charity...

2. Jim G (Gilmar4)- Team 47 Motorsports- Animal Rescue Merrimac Valley

3. Scott S (Bullitt5177)- Team Scarecrow- Susan G Komen Foundation

4. Fred- Team Mopar- (Kelly McLean Memorial Scholarship Fund)

5. Fabio (Charlie181) Team Jeffrey Calero Memorial

6. Steve H (lxfiveoh) TEAM FIRST PLACE- Project Fallen Hero

7. Bob P (Team PULNGZ) Make a Wish Foundation

8. Joey B Team NHMC- MS Research Foundation

9. Jake H- TEAM MHR- Project Fallen Hero

10. Lou C- TEAM Motorhead Magazine- Leukemia/Lymphoma Society

11. Jimm P - WFO Motorsports - Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough County

Cost to enter this event is 125.00 per team plus current NE Dragway Test Session fees.
Please make checks payable to "Charity Challenge".

Separate donations may also be made for the following (please specify where your donation should be allocated)
1. Sponsor one of the current "Charity Challenge" Teams partially or in full
2. Sponsor one of the charities (your donation will be forwarded to your specified charity, not added to the pot for the shootout)
3. "Charity Challenge" awards and supplies.

Deadline for Teams to submit entry fee is April 1st 2010. We cannot guarantee anyone a spot after that date if you are unpaid. Team Captains are responsible for collecting the entry fee from their own team.

Individual racers will be assigned a team prior to the event, once all 16 charities are chosen.

Cost for individuals is 31.25, payable to "Charity Challenge" plus current Test Session rates.
