No, this replaces your oil cap.

no, i have the breather on my car and still use a catch can. i'm boosted and use the breather for crankcase pressure. My JLT catch can still catches all of the oil for me. I have zero issues w/ any oil on my valve covers.

It won't hurt, they work on N/A applications as well.

no problem, running higher rpms would definitely make the breather worth it.
