Holy Sh!t Damn that looks bad.. What was the cause of the Detonation? Most likey too much timing, bad tune job? Do you have a picture of the top of the piston? If so post it up.. I was also told that oil getting on top of the piston can cause bad detonation and that could cause the motor to blow like it did..

No picture of the top, he is saying it went lean. So the new setup is getting 60# injectors and twin 255 fuel pumps.

thats a good setup the manley rods are definitely worth it, are you going to run the ARP 2000's, thats what im running, they are suppose to be the strongest, and best out there.

It VERY easily went lean because of the STUPID reformulated fuels!!!
They will bite you in the butt!
Close tune(max safe tune), cool/cold air and reformulated gasoline will get ya this time of year!
