Bought it last summer, and took it to school to do the body work around October. It had an old single stage garage paint job on it and the truck was painted with everything on it so it had to go.
Mods: Fully Forged 408 stroker kit, AFR 205's, Built C6 with 2500 stall, Ford Racing Alum Drive shaft, 4-Link and tubs.
It used to be a turbo motor but one of the previous owners ripped the turbo off along with the fuel injection and just put a Holley 750 DP on it.
Here it is the day I brought it into the shop.

First thing I did was shave the front fuel door and the antenna.

Switched the color to Torch Red from the 03-04 Cobra and this is how it sits right now. Also got new headlights and tinted the old tails with Clearcoat with some black. Next is tint!

Did you buy that from a guy in TX? Looks really good, I personally would have left the wheels alone. I can't even see the wheels in the pictures where they are black. But the beautiful thing about it is that you own it and can do whatever you like! Great truck and enjoy it

Nice! I have a 93' in my garage as well. I always wondered what it would like in torch red. Now I know. Looks good! Not sure about the black wheels though.

Dont worry guys, the wheels are just plastidipped haha. Ready to peel off in seconds and go back to the shiny chrome. Just wanted to try it out and see what all the hype was about. And nope, I bought it from a guy in Iowa.

Body work looks great. Personally though, I would have left the wheels finish alone. But otherwise

Great looking Lightning. Nice work! I'm a bit up on the fence as far as the original chrome wheel and the black finish. I could go either way honestly. Good looking truck!

Wheels look much better before the plasti-dip. Will you be going back to turbo?

Truck looks great, seeing that I am partial to the Gen1's haha. Are you gonna get new fog lights for it? And are you going to do anything mechanically to it or leave it alone?

Looks really good but I would ditch the black wheels. It just looks like a lowered RCSB OBS.

Well that would look 10X better over the black.

Thanks guys, took alot of work to get it where its at. I wanna go back turbo or throw a big blower on it but for now my main concern is getting through school. Might just have to throw nitrous at it for now. I might get new fogs, the old ones were busted and they just werent in the budget right now, I sprayed about $1000 in color and $400 in clear and couldn't afford to do it all at once.
