Wife and I just finished detailing the Vette. We are leaving tomorrow for the Blue Ridge Parkway and plan on driving the whole length (Except the portion that's closed due to a landslide just South of Roanoke). We have some old military friends in Newport News we haven't seen in ages so we're going to drop in for a visit with them while we're at the North end of the BRP and then it's back to 'Bama.

600hp will be fun on the BRP! ;) Watch out for attacking bugs. And....have a blast the whole time.

Gonna be an awesome trip for sure! I'll be up there on the bike next week. Be careful I was up 2 weeks ago and there were tons of park rangers on the parkway, I usually see almost none.

That's the car to do it in! Should hit some nice fall scenery. I avoid the parkways anymore. Between the slow pokes and then the tail garters, and the wife saying (look at that!) It becomes a chore. Have fun, dont feed the bears.
