That's got to be one of a biker's greatest fears -- running into a deer or other fair sized animal. He was very fortunate. I've seen what they can do to cars.

You got that right. I've seen deers damn near total compact cars. That had to be a small one or he just hit him right in the sweet spot. A big buck would've pretty much stopped him in his tracks...
