I have a couple guys in my region who autocross with Rivals on there mustangs (boss & 5.0 GT) and they love them. Haven't seen any mustangs on a road course with them, but I have see other cars and they look good. They are not too far off from NT01'S. For being a street tire. I plan on buying a set for my second car.

I beat the crap out of mine daily and haven't noticed a change yet. After the IRS bushing upgrade they do spin a but more in 1st but once heated up they dead hook. Rear end feels incredibly stable through high speed turns

What did you end up going with....and what do you think?

I ended up going with some R888's. At the time I just didn't see a whole lot of reviews on these, and everybody was raving about the R888's, so I went with them. I must say, I have not been disappointed. I honestly haven't been able to put a whole lot of miles on the car since then, but I love them so far. Traction is solid on the street for my 626 hp, and I really like how they look!

The rivals sure sound like a nice tire too though. Probably can't go wrong either way.

Good to hear Jefe. Keep updating this thread with your mileage if you can. I am really considering these when my 555R's wear out.

They are MUCH wider than the BFG's in the same size, so beware when selecting rim/tire sizes.

The Rivals run a little wider than the previous KDW2's did on my car.

My cars slammed, so i had a little rubbing after installing the Rivals when I never did before. I had to roll my fenders.

Yes 18x10's. If I were to raise my car up then yes I could fit 315's. Being slammed no they would not fit, they would rub over every bump. The pic's I just posted are an illusion, looking straight on to the fender you cannot get a finger on the tire. The tire is up in the fender a tiny bit. Hope that makes sense.

Every car I see with 315 or 335 are not as low. Therefore the tire is not inside the fender but more flush with the outside of the fender.

Ya see my right rear. I rub pretty bad on big dips. But those are 335s
