Dayum that's only a 275?!? Pics on the ground please! You'll typically spin the first couple times out. Once the mold release is off of and you're into fresh rubber is when you want to evaluate and when their warm of course.

275/35 KDW2s up front and 335/30 Rivals out back

No good pics yet, ill try soon
Man they look awesome! Will you ever run this tire on the front as well?
No I like a street tire up front as I dont track the car at all. I think ill get over 30k miles out of the KDW2s up front and they work great

For autocross these tires would be great on all 4 corners

Hooking up great so far. Really like how they handle corners. Drove through wet cold roads with no problems at all

Appears so. Not for long though I bet. Should become more popular than Nitto DRs

After the 1st spin it is impossible to spin 1st gear again with 463/456

Become more popular than which Nitto DR's? Not NT05r's that have proven 1.4 60's. NT555r's I sure hope so, their the worst tire I've ever run. They are looking good, how's the wet weather traction etc.? I may run those for my 3rd wheel set used for highway driving and wet weather.

Ya the older 555 DRs. Last longer and have actual wet traction. Ive had 2 days on cold wet roads with no issues. Took it up to 60mph and felt very stable, even half throttle wasnt an issue

These tires also have an incredible amount of rim protection

I see they only have a 295/35/18 and a 315/30/18, no 305. I have a 285/35/18 now and wanted to go wider. Will the 315s fit my 10.5" wheel? Also, is there a huge difference between the side wall being 30 vs 35? I have 265/35 up front. Wouldn't have 30 on the rear look weird? I would probably only buy these for the rear.

a 315 will fit fine on a 10.5. Iy you had a 10" rim that would be pushing it.

a 30 rear with a 35 front would look weird. I would prefer 35's or 30's anyway. The more sidewall the better.

Okay so in your opinion, would you rather have a 315/30 or a 295/35?

if i had a 35 front i would get the 295/35. But some can deal with the different sidewall height between front/rear.

Jefe can you post a pic of your car and its new meat from the side showing the difference in size please.

Sorry I didnt see this 5 months ago! I just checked and I dont have one. Im just finishing up my IRS upgrade so I will this week. I love the way the tread looks from the side, it looks like armor haha

Almost 4k miles on them. Tread looks closer to brand new than half gone! I should easily see 10k street miles. Crossing my fingers for 15k but Im doubtful

Hmmm this is the first I'm seeing of these. They look pretty sweet. My KDW2's last a long time on my car.

So what's the latest on these tires?
I have BFG KDW'2 and traction is basically non existent. I use DR's for the 1/4 so I'm good there, but I'm looking for a better street tire that's good enough for a track day at the road course. I'm way over powered for a road course so tire selection is going to matter a bunch. I'm looking at Proxes 888 or these new BFG's....input anybody?

....anybody?

Yeah I noticed when I was trying to find information on these tires, I saw some reviews of people using them on like evo's and miata's for like auto crossing and road racing, but I hadn't seen anybody running them in bigger sizes on cars like Mustangs, Camaros, corvettes, etc. I was waiting to hear more about these before I pulled the trigger on some R888's.

What did you end up going with....and what do you think?
