Belt size

I have a 2.93 upper, 1-92 & 3-100 idlers w/4lb lower & 3.2 alt. I have 81 5/8 belt that is just a little too big. My tensioner is almost touching the stop. How much smaller should I go??

Got the belt & its still too big!!!! The next size down is 80 1/8''. The one I just bought was 81 1/8''. :shrug:

According to my information, Gates doesn't make an 80 1/8" belt. They make an 81 1/8" belt that is stock number K080806. Next size down from that is a K080797 which is 80 1/4". What stock number did you end up using?

I've read through the belt selection guide, but didn't see the combination of idlers and aux idler that I'm about to install, unless I am totally blind . Here is the combination

2.8 upper
1 X 100mm aux idler
3 X 90mm idlers (stock size)
Stock lower

I also check on Metco's site and I think its 74.5. Just want to be sure before I go out and grab a replacement belt. Thanks and I apologize for the hijack.
