The battery rolled over in the trunk. Long story short I had a trunk full of battery acid and the battery was completely shorted out/dead.

I replaced it with a Optima 78 series with the vent ports.

The issue I’m having is I have no power inside the car although with the key In the ignition I do get a dinging sound.

I’m hoping it’s just fuses but I know it could be more. Is there anything else I should be looking out for?

Thanks in advance!

Without seeing a schematic of your system, I would be looking at you fuselinks.
Fuel pump, starter....

I am only guessing that you had a rear trunk mounted battery.

So it’s about 99% chance the positive went to ground. Focus on the positive cable.

Is it fused?

Go up and take a look at where it meets the fuse block.

Perform a voltage drop test and you’ll find the problem.

Please delete looks like I had one fuse popped and short in a wire near at the main fuse.

OP:
Question: what battery holder or box did you use that let the battery rollover in the trunk?!

Just wanting to know for future reference.

Thanks

“User error” it’s a normal stainless box. The shop that had my car put a block of wood in the box instead of dropping the bolts in. I never thought to look to make sure it was installed correctly.
