aviator is wrecked!

so today on our sons birthday my wife was hit in the passenger front from some jackass who pulled out in front of her. My question is will the truck be considered total loss? I figured it will be because it's a 2003 and parts to fix it will be more then what it's worth now. So how much should I expect to get it what does te insurance company base value on? Here's some picks and the plates on the guys car-( REKLES1) Glad the wife is fine overall

You're in BG? You're about 20 mins from me. Doesnt appear to be a lot or any structural damage and it largely just looks like the bumper and all that's underneath. I think they will pay to have it fixed.

Bumper, wheel, tire, and some stuff behind the bumper, but nowhere near enough damage for it to be totaled. Most important thing is that your wife wasn't hurt. And how ironic is that license plate!

Did the airbags go off? If not, then it most likely will not be totaled. Buddy hit a deer that did far more damage and it wasn't totaled (2002 Ford Explorer, same thing basically).

In Kansas, the repairs have to exceed 75% of the cars value in order to be totaled.

like mentioned the air bags is the biggest factor (other stuff that can help total it are things like 200k miles, etc). What is an aviator in the year/mileage worth OP?
