Anyoner know how to turn on Fog lights only?

hello all,

I know there is a way to wire so that the fog lights can be turned on without any other lights. Is this an easy job, or do I need someone who knows what they are doing? Thanks for any input.

With the mod described in the first link in this post, the relay gets its power from the dash illumination power. If you dim the cabin lights to some point, there won't be enough power to run the relay. If that's ok with you, go for it. If not, use a different mod to do it.

I did the mod simply because it is illegal here in the Peoples' Republic of California.

It's my little protest.

Now they're probably going to have "fog inspections" here, in addition to smog inspections.

I never turn the fog lights on...
