A good high flowing single pump with Bap will take you to 480.
In a Return fuel system that 340 would support a good bit of HP, a Vortech car at the shop made close to 600 with some room left in the pump.

^ really? a return setup made almost 600? On a single pump? And ok good aslong as it supports 480 i will be good till im out of college

If your only shooting for 480 I really don't think you need the 340 pump. My friend made just under 500 with a single ford GT pump, and a BAP on a '98 GT with a vortec.

But the ford gt pumps are more expensive aren't they?

Yup, but not by much. The fact that you wouldn't necessarily need a modded FPDM makes up for the difference and then some. The difference in cost on pumps is about $60. A modded fuel driver is $170...
