Anyone try 275/55-17 tires on a stock height Cobra?

Want to know if there would be any rubbing issues. Adds about 2 inches of side wall.

the only thing that is stopping me from going with a 28" tire on the rear (and possibly lower rear ride height) on my daily driver is that it trips the abs light, according to what i have read.

i was looking at the 325/45/17 m&h drag radials and i believe with the right offset rim (about 0 on a 11" rim) i think it would fit perfect with no rubbing issues

edit: but to answer your question directly i have not tried it but i am almost sure that there would be no rubbing issues with that size tire

Ok, thanks for the input. Not sure what I am doing yet, but was just a thought. I hate the look of rubber band tires, but I understand the handling issues.
