Anyone else frustrated with Ford over the next GT500?

from listening to the NAIAS vid where they announced the GT500, the say in 2019. Makes it sound like YEAR 2019 ('20 MY), not MY 2019.
Maybe this is why the GT350 will be running another year. IDK. Speculation is running wild on this thing. Makes me think possibly two variants are to come about.

Edit: I'm guessing here,but maybe they bring a small run of 2019's, kinda like they did for the 2015 GT350.

A small run of 2019MY cars, like the GT350 was to '15. 2019MY should be starting around early june. I bet we don't see banks open until fall, or later for the GT500, but even if it comes early spring 2019, it could still be deemed a 2019MY car.

Maybe there are 2 versions of this car coming, or two options. Drag pack or track pack. IDK, just taking a stab at it. Tough to guess what ford is doing.
Would be very cool if they offered them like this, then everyone would get their fill. I remember DBK saying Ford wasn't interested in building cars with slicks and skinnies...so...IDK, just seems odd this fella would bring up a demon and say 'in spades'

Limited 2015 GT350 run hit dealers first of November 2015 and were in the order banks in April as a Job 3. I'd think that until we hear a mention of a limited run, it's reasonable to expect a full run with fall delivery with the recent confirmation of the banks opening 3/12 this year and job 1 on 6/11.

The thing I'm most pissed about is that for years now Ford has been changing the game with their implementation of their "Ecoboost" engines. And it's looking like the next GT500 will be V8 Supercharged. 700+HP? Who TF cares. The Hellcat already came out and "Surprised" all the auto world with that. PLEASE Ford, make the next GT500 a "Twin Turbo V8" and dominate all competition and be the talk of the auto world for a long time!!!!!

Ford should just work out a deal to buy McLaren 720’s and rebadge them as gt500’s. They could buy like 20,000 of them at half price, and just put a different body kit kinda like Chevy and cadillac.

Since they’d be buying 5 times as many as Mclaren plans to sell, it’s completely obvious Mclaren will sell them to ford for 5 times less because liberal math.

So ford will have to put $500 of duct tape and bondo plus about $650 of panels on the car. They’d be into it $61,500. Put an invoice of $74,999 and Msrp of $79,999.
