Any upper only cars hit 10's without NO2?

Thanks! This is definitely the time of year to be setting new PB's if you have the chance to make it to the track. The DA when I made the 11.03 pass was about +200.

I made one more pass after the 11.03 pass when the air was even better, unfortunately my clutch wasn't up to the task and I got quite a bit of clutch slip on that pass. With the 28" slicks out back and the stock 3.55 gears, it was hard to keep the car from bogging on the launch. I had to bring the launch rpm up to try to keep the car from bogging which wasn't good on the clutch. I'd bet switching to 4.10 gears at my current power level would result in some pretty solid gains, probably .25 second, maybe even more.

Friday evenings trip to the track is likely going to be my last. Plans are to put it back to stock and sell of my mods, then to sell the Cobra...:xpl: Sucks to think about but I have plans to buy some land & then build a new house in the future.

I broke my axle trying to hit 10's but I got pretty close. I'm sure I'll hit 10's once I fix the rear.

BTW that run was on a Posi port with upper pulley only with a completely stock IRS rear, completely stock cooling system, and with full weight (minus the spare tire and jack). I'm more then positive that I can hit 10's with an upper only, fully weight, IRS, and no NO2.... it'll just have to wait until next year when I replace (and upgrade) the half shafts.
