The reason that guy is carrying a gun is because if he were unarmed and out in public, he would be getting beatdowns everyday simply because of his obnoxious attitude.

This is why you don't just consent. This is why you should always challenge someone infringing upon their rights. What's the catch-phrase, "If you aren't doing something wrong or hiding something, why not consent?" Here is why, the police just hemmed everyone up, cuffed them for 1.5-2 hours, and not a single one of those 19 people said "NO" to their vehicle search.
This is a prime example of conditioning folks.

So after reading the article it wasn't clear if the bank robber was actually caught in the group or not. It says he was caught, but not where.
Remember guys, it's a lot less dangerous to contest a civil rights violation in court than on the street. Unfortunately it happens, best idea is to combat it PROPERLY. Most don't leave court with bruises or worse.
