I was launching well. I had 10 runs in and I did 4 1.7 60s and the rest were 1.8s.

After 10 runs I the clutch made a weird noise. It was closing time so I had to call it quits anyway. The clutch feels awesome though. It's almost like stock now. I'm having a TOB issue at the moment. I'm going to replace it when I do the bell housing.

I had to leave early to pick my son up from school and missed the 11.78. Nice run Dave. What are you going to do now to get in the 10's?

I made 6 runs and missed third 3 times, I think I might have to try an aftermarket shifter. I never had that problem in my 99 with the Steeda.

What I found amazing is on one run I went from second to 5th and just rode it out rather than down shifting and still ran a 13.4. The other 2 times it hung up in nuetral. The 2-3 shift is definitly a deliberate careful maneuver in my case, trying to shift it fast just pushing forward like on the 99's Steeda just doesn't cut it. :cryying: Guess the 12's will have to wait. :-D

I'd definately get a steeda or pro5.0. I have the steeda.

I use to miss third all the time with my stock shifter under hard acceleration. I missed 3rd once racing a C5 and he got a few car lengths and then he turned before I could catch up. I said fug it and ordered the tri-ax the next day.

It sounds like it's a mandatory item if you want to hit third without a guessing what gear if any you'll find.

John, I used to have trouble shifting 2nd to 3rd also.
Mark told me to shift to third by shifting straight up.
I did it around town and then under full boost.
It works ! No need for new shifter. Ken
