Went moose/bear hunting for 2 weeks in Alaska. My dad goes every year and I haven't been up there since '05 so figured why not. Beautiful country up there, I'm not a pro-photographer by any means btw lol.

We didn't get anything though. It was super hot there and nothing was really moving. Seen one that looked pretty legal ( didn't get any pics cause I was too busy holding the rifle at it lol ) but if you gotta think about it then who knows. The big mountain you see in the pics is Mt McKinley.

Looks like a nice trip. I've always wondered, if you did get a moose or a bear, how would you guys go about getting it back home?

My dad has a college friend that lives up there. We'd leave most of it with him and bring maybe 100 lbs back or something along those lines this time. But otherwise my dad always just leaves everything to him.

Theres a Cabela's camp where they take customers like right over the hill behind our camp. They got like 2 moose opening week before we got there, bastards lol.

Alaska is amazing. I've been there once before and it was probably the sickest vacation I've even went on. One day I want to go back again.

Those pictures were great! It looks a lot like Montana up there, I wouldn't mind living in AK at all. We are going to try to make it up there for a vacation in the next few years.

Nice pics, look nice and quiet which would be a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
