Someone on an old thread stated that the TracKey tune and an aftermarket tune could co-exist on the PCM but elsewhere it says that if you tune with SCT you lose TracKey. Does anyone know which is true?

No. The track key and regular tune will both be backed up.

As stated you won't want both. After market tune, unless it is bama :p, will easily be stronger.

All these threads on tuning, TracKey, etc. got me curious. I haven't driven my car in pure stock condition for over a year. Since my mods are so easy to reverse I decided to remove the Steeda CAI and AED tune and see what it felt like. All it took was one run through the gears and I was ready to restore it to its fully-tuned glory. Throttle response is no contest and I became reacquainted with the rev limiter. I imagine this must be what the TracKey feels like but with an extra 20 hp and 8000 rpm shifts. It did solve my traction issues, but I'll gladly cope with second gear tire spin in exchange for race car reflexes.
