You have to cut that out. Dremel worked good for that. Stuffed a rag behind it and had the shop vac sucking the dust while i was cutting.

That's just a plate. Did you block off the inlet in the throttle body?

I have that tied into the pipe before the throttle body.

In the old bbk throttle body it was blocked off, there is no inlet in the Accufab throttle body.

FWIW, I had to tweak the throttle stop on mine a touch to get the idle solid and make sure it worked smooth.

So far so good with mine, just bolted it up.

You are fortunate. Accufab TBs can be finicky with the idle. Ask me how I know. LOL.

I've had my Accufab on for a couple years, and no issues YET.
