Correct me if im wrong Mike, but i've been to alot of track days my buds and i that use the same stuff. Its a cheap tape you can put on all the parts of your car you don't want bugs, rocks, pebles, etc to hit when you're driving. Guys with super expensive sports cars usually mask the whole side and front of their car with it.

Don't your rear tires bottom out on the fenders when you're auto x'ing? Do you have wheel spacers on there too? I have 315 nittos on my car too. I think they are a great all around tire.

I run 1" spacers and rolled the fender lip.
P.S. don't roll the fender lip yourself, pay someone to do it right! Mine looks like crap.
