Just saw this. I have had zero issues with my US Shift Quick 6 controller on my 6R80 swap. Basically a plug and play. On the street it is working fine and my transbrake feature is nice.
It is still in a learning mode, so I have been putting some miles on it, but overall it shifts fine and zero faults.
It blows the tires off!

My car is running great on the street with the quick 6. It is a 870rwhp 07 gt500 with cams and a circle d converter.... and hasnt seen the drag strip yet ( but i am 100% certain from the way it feels it will run 9's the first time out). Simply put there is no easier way to swap a 6r80 into a car.... is it 100% the best way to do it.... NO. but swapping to a coyote computer, dealing with abs modules, and the PATS system is simply ALLOT of work.... not to mention all the money. I did the swap without even touching my cars tune. The software probably does require some computer know how but is not rocket science. I do wish i had someone i could ask questions on " what is a proper trans tune supposed to look like" because I am by no means a tuner.... but the car runs good and for the money i have invested i couldnt be happier currently.

Well I think this may be my problem, bad controller, I've burnt up an fti converter and my trans, sent converter in for warranty work, they said overdrive clutch and bearing was burnt, rebuilt the transmission, input shaft o-rings were melted off. Re installed newly rebuilt converter and transmission, regained lockup on the converter which had stopped working, but all the drivability problems are EXACTLY the same. I wonder if they will swap my controller out and write me a tune, because I'm at my wits end, ready to put the manual back end, but then that means I've been defeated.

Would be interesting to get an update on people recently purchasing a controller. I’ve been looking around and would like to go 6r80 if something happens to my t56 but everyone I talk to has issues with the controller

I didn't recently purchase it, but did recently get everything together, regardless, some of my symptoms remain after having put in a rebuilt trans, converter, AND, a valvebody from street smart Transmissions. It randomly doesn't shift out of first or shifts hard out of first into second. Random flared shift into sixth. Randomly downshifts to 4th then 3rd when trying to accelerate at the exact same tps percentage. I could go on and on

My controller never worked right. I sold all the auto stuff a long time ago and had my t56 rebuilt. Seems like there’s a few success stories about the controller but I’d be willing to bet there’s more failures. My brother had the quick4 in his cobra and it never worked right either.

Agreed with above.
I ran the Quick6 controller and had issues. I sent it back to them for the software upgrade and it still had issues.
Basically on regular driving it was fine.
Under load/boost it failed to shift at the commanded rpm. After a lot of trial and error, I had to tell it basically to shift at 3,500 before it would actually shift before 7,000 rpm under load.
Also randomly after a burnout it would fail and throw a code. I literally had to shut the car off and recrank it to pull to the starting line to correct the issue.
Lastly it would also stop the output speed sensor signal going down the track. Once I slowed down it started working again.
Again all weird/random stuff.
I know they have a newer version of Quick6 now available but no idea if it's any good.
The guys that sold the Quick6 never could solve my issues.
After breaking the intermediate shaft in my fully-built Lasala 6R80, I had enough and sold it all.
Now my TTSaleen rocks a full manual Turbo 400 with a circle D convertor.
Plan to take it to the track soon, but on the street it is a monster.

I believe Shrader Performance, I know for certain Lund has used a Coyote Control Pack to run a 6R80 with a 4V. Essentially it is tuned as a locked cam Coyote.

EVs are for people that prefer flesh lights over vagene.

Lund will tell you the quick6 is no good for the 6r80. The 6r80 will only work with the Ford control pack.

I didn’t have any issues with drivability or at the track with a whipple. Once I went turbo with a Holley I couldn’t get the car to bump. So went with a FTI th400 and gearvender overdrive. Wish I did that to begin with.

What kinda rpm you see on the highway?

We’re running with some guys at sick week that didn’t have that overdrive and running 55mph the whole time sucked balls

I have a 308 gear and 28’s 70-75 I’m around 3k. Even with the exhaust out the bumper it’s still not to loud. With the gear vendor at 80 I think I’m crushing around 2500.
