I saw the intake temps drop at a hpde event at Pocono. Ran one session with a stock box and the following session with a wrapped box. Hour plus cool down in between sessions, ambient temp was +/-5 degrees. I probably have the data logs somewhere on my hard drive just have to search them out.

Yeah those crazy Germans, pretty slick for a factory setup.

Thanks man, the guy does some awesome work!
Is there a reason why you chose to mount the maf at a bend and not in the middle to get a better signal for the Maf? Last time i remember you wanted at least 4" straight on either side or the signal can get funky from the change in velocity around the bend.
I'm sure he has his reasons, Dustin knows his stuff :banana:

So far, Dustin has started test fitting the kit on the car. It will be going out for the hi-temp coating after that. Some pics..

Will this thing be ready for the cooler weather in November? I am dying to take my car to firebird to see how it will do. If your car is done by then you should roll out!

Soon, I decided to make some changes. Resulted in 5 completely new jigs, and modifying 3 more :bored: All the changes are done and the k member and down pipes should be back from coating today. They've been extremely patient but it needs to be perfect out of the gate w/o excuses.

It should definitely be done and all tuned up by November. Count me in for Firebird! I'm anxious to see what kind of numbers I can pull off with this setup. Wish I had gotten a baseline before hand, but never did. Oh well..:rolling:

Hot side is back from being coated. New k member is installed and TSS oil pump gears are in. Still waiting on a few more parts to show up. Couple o' pics for ya guys..
