I'm going to put another gauge on there after I replace the alt and battery, I was just wondering if this could be the reason for low boost.

Thanks Brutal, I was just wanting to make sure I didn't need to do any further troubleshooting after I replaced these parts. I was leaning towards a faulty gauge, the car sure feels like it's running 17lbs, but I'll be sure to hook up another gauge after I replace the batt/alt.

From what I have found the gauge should be calibrated at the top of the level. Like if your MAX boost is going to be 17 psi, then calibrate it at 17 psi. The higher the boost, the higher it can be off when calibrated. 03Steve just went through this with his overlay and found it was a few psi off up top.
