I think they should standardize NFL payroll. Base salary with performance bonuses.

Make a league minimum and offer incentives by position and performance. You have a shitty performance year? Then you start back at league minimum the following year.

Want big money? Then don't suck.

Lineman didn't report as eligible. I don't know why Dan didn't take the tie to go into overtime, but I would guess that he didn't think it would make much of a difference in the long run and there was no sense getting someone hurt when they were all tired.

There is video showing that he did. The ref simply wasn’t listening or paying attention. 100% the refs fault. I guess a lot of his crew are expected to get downgraded.
