I'm personally not really big on before/after - 50/50 pics unless it's REALLY bad.

1) My iPhone is not that great at capturing swirls marks etc. Pencil eraser size lens.
2) I've found (and I've been doing this a long time) EVERY "new car" has swirl marks.
3) 50/50 shots encourage folks to beat on paint. I use the least aggressive method.
4) On brand new cars the paint is coming factory/OEM much thinner every year.
5) I measure (in microns) with a paint thickness gauge during the polishing process.
6) Modern machines, pads and compounds are much more aggressive correction.

When you combine much thinner paint and more aggressive correction you are headed for disaster.

I have a few posts coming soon that will show "extreme makeover"...
In the meantime...this is what it should look like when it's polished.

Sadly, my lighting is brutal. I will show "things" that you can not see in daylight.
Multiple ScanGrip MultiMatch 8 and MultiMatch 3 (color from 2500k to 6500k).

They can make a career out of a car paint.

If a guy used a pressure washer first to clean surface dirt, two bucket wash method, blow the car dry, how long will the paint stay that clean?

1) I use a VERY small electric pressure washer.
2) I like using a MTM Hydro PF22.2 Professional Snow Foam Cannon with the PW.

How long will the paint stay that clean?
That's an interesting question.

If it's garage kept then I suggest 2-4 weeks to remove the "film".

Folks often ask "How often do I need to wash my car?"
I tell them..."When it gets dirty."

Also, another pet peeve of mine is a dirty gas hole! I clean inside the gas cover.
I usually coat the "plastic" areas (gas cap etc.) with CQuartz Dlux Wheel and Trim Coating.
It's just a subtle touch (pleasant surprise) when a few days later they stop to get gas.
Nobody likes a dirty gas hole!

On a happy note...on Tesla's I clean the engine bay and exhaust tips for free!

It could be years or months...it really depends on your washing technique.

Horizontal surfaces top-to-front (roof, hood trunk etc.) Gently wipe and lift.
Vertical surfaces (fenders, doors etc.) Top down with a high quality soapy mitt.

Be sure and clean the mitt, in the rinse water, as you do each panel.
Short Version - Never put a dirty wash mitt in the soapy water.
