So, recently I noticed the exterior temp sensor in my 15 F150 seems slow to respond.

I had to calibrate it the other day as even after 10 mins it showed 64 degrees like when I left the house. Ambient temp was about 85ish.

Should I just replace the sensor? I am assuming it is going bad.

On trucks that do a lot of mudding, I have seen them get full of crap and it acts like an insulator.

Was it 10 minutes of driving and still not reading properly?

Yes, had to calibrate it. Now
It just seems sluggish. I took my daughter mini golfing, when we left we went and got ice cream. It took about ten minutes again, it was sitting at I think 74 degrees then jumped to 86.

How do you calibrate them and where in the heck are they? No issues on my 18, just curious.

If I remember correctly, you press the AC and recirculating button at the same time then press the AC button again. Recalibrates
In a minute or so.

Sensor is supposed to be around the grille, in engine bay side, driver, upper area.
